Alazif is the spirit of the book of spells and is the embodiment of the dark fruit of human knowledge. He has a bright personality and hopes that Princess Syalis will use his knowledge to break free from the Demon King's castle. Since it contains a record of so many powerful spells, this compendium is named the Forbidden Grimoire and has been sealed away by demons. Alazif is ancient, but since he has been sleeping for most of his existence, his mental age is quite young. His raison d'etre is to serve human royalty. Alazif currently serves Princess Syalis, but all he can do is imbue her with magical power and spells. Unable to wield his own power, he is now forced to expend his incredible magic on pointless things.
