Amatsukaze, upon remodeling, gains a small smile on her CG art. Her "hairpin" (chimney) also gains a heart-shaped smoke cloud. Players in the community have suggested that this might be a sign of her warming up to the admiral (Amatsukaze was historically (mistakenly) abandoned for some time). She is a template tsundere. From her dialogue it can be inferred that she cares about Shimakaze as more than a friend. This relationship is likely derived from her historical role as the prototype for Shimakaze.
KanColle: Kantai Collection
Kantai Collection (艦隊これくしょん Kantai Korekushon, lit. "Fleet Collection", subtitled as "Combined Fleet Girls Collection"), abbreviated as KanColle (艦これ KanKore), is a Japanese free-to-play web browser game developed by Kadokawa Games.[2][3] The game was launched on April 23, 2013.[4] As of April 2015, the game is available in Japan only and has 3 million registered players.[5] The game has developed into a much larger media franchise; various media including multiple manga series and light novels have been released, in addition to an officially licensed tabletop role-playing game. A PlayStation Vita game was released in February 2016,[6] and an anime television series began airing its first season in January 2015,[7] with an animated film[8] released in November 2016 as the sequel to the series.
