Brago is a young mamodo boy with a reserved, coarse personality and a dark, intimidating presence who becomes the partner of Sherry Belmont. Rarely does Brago interact with other mamodo, but he resents weakness and possesses immense physical strength and resolve. So powerful is he that he has defeated other mamodo without using a single spell, gained from elite training. It is implied that Brago is somewhat well-known in his world, as Tia stated that there was no mamodo kid alive that didn't know about Brago and his strength and even Wonrei fears him to some degree. Although Brago aspires to be the Mamodo King, he has a strong sense of justice and wishes to deal with them using his own strength. Brago, along with Ashuron, Elzador, and Zeno, are considered to be prodigies and they are strong enough to require an adult mamodo's strength to defeat. Brago initially starts off as being a vicious and bloodthirsty boy that only cares about achieving his goal. He threatens to kill Albert, Sherry's butler, if she does not discard her sense of sympathy so they could unlock spells faster. Sherry fights Brago's foul attitude and through her, Brago finds the power to soften a bit, even helping a human child find his own strength. Although he still looks down upon weaker opponents, Brago has become a much better person by the end of his journey. Brago strongly supports Sherry in her quest to rescue Koko from Zofis' mental manipulation and helps her train so she can fight with mamodo. The two defeat Zofis and Sherry and after Brago threatens Zofis, forcing him to release Koko from his mind control, Sherry vows to do everything in her power to make Brago the Mamodo King.
