The First Princess of Pastillage who is still in-training as her country's next ruler. She has deep friendly relations with Millhiore and Leonmichelle, and looks up to become a ruler like them. People that she is friendly with address her by "Lady Cou" (クー様 Kū-sama?). Despite being free-spirited and mischievous, she is recognized for her talent in the judging people. She possesses the Heavenly Spear "Coumars" (クルマルス Kurumarusu?), despite it being a gun (it is said that in Pastillage, people call guns "spears"). Couvert uses it as a one-handed Crystaltech Gun while flying on a magic carpet. Upon seeing Rebecca's image, Couvert recognizes her as a kindred spirit, looking up to and wanting to be on par with Cinque and Nanami besides not being as athletic as them, just as Couvert herself does towards Millhi and Leo, thus she sets to Biscotti and successfully invites her to become her heroine. She speaks in Kansai dialect, hence why she addresses herself using Uchi (家?), a pronoun for "I" that is commonly used by females from the Kansai region.

In the magical land of Flonyard, animal-eared inhabitants battle each other for resources in harmless war games. One region, Biscotti, has fought valiantly but is on the verge of financial ruin when its princess, Millhiore, makes a decision: she’ll summon a champion who can fight for their honor! Through a magical portal comes Shinku, a once-typical middle school student who’s eager to join the cause. But soon, both Millhiore and Shinku make a terrible discovery: those who are summoned can’t return home! Now, as Shinku continues to train and fight for Biscotti, he and the others must also try to find a way for the boy to someday get back to his loving friends and family.

While Shinku reprises his role as Princess Millhiore’s protector, his friend Rebecca, spellbound by this fantastical place, is quickly recruited to be a bordering kingdom’s champion. What’s more, Shinku’s cousin, Natsumi, was also summoned to Flonyard by Biscotti’s strongest rival of all, Leonmitchelli! With more war games on the horizon and plenty of adventures in store, Shinku and his friends must do their best to help their respective ruler win the spoils!
