エドワード・ミッドフォード
from Black Butler
Lord Edward Midford is a knight, the son of Alexis Leon and Francis Midford, older brother of Elizabeth, nephew of Vincent Phantomhive, and older cousin of Ciel Phantomhive. Edward is a young man with short blond hair and emerald-green eyes. He resembles his mother, having inherited her piercing eyes. An aristocrat, Edward dresses in expensive, sophisticated suits, even though he personally does not care much about fashion; his sister often picks out his clothes and gives him recommendations. Edward has inherited his mother's serious personality. His ingenuousness, however, derives from his father. A knight, he values honor, courage, integrity, and chivalry; he protected defenseless passengers on the Campania, and he prioritized the safety of women and children on lifeboats. He adheres to tradition and believes that women should dress conservatively. Edward is modest and deems himself unexceptional compared to his peers, whom he has a profound respect for, such as Ciel for shouldering heavy responsibilities as the head of the Phantomhive house. As the Prefect of the Green House, Edward is earnest and trains strenuously to prepare for the role. According to Sebastian, Edward is a fast learner because he genuinely respects his superiors and models himself on them. Moreover, Edward is exceedingly protective and possessive of his sister; he is often angry when she is in the company of Ciel, and he once threatened that, if any harm were to befall her, he would not forgive Ciel.

Black Butler
Young Ciel Phantomhive is known as "the Queen's Guard Dog," taking care of the many unsettling events that occur in Victorian England for Her Majesty. Aided by Sebastian Michaelis, his loyal butler with seemingly inhuman abilities, Ciel uses whatever means necessary to get the job done. But is there more to this black-clad butler than meets the eye? In Ciel's past lies a secret tragedy that enveloped him in perennial darkness—during one of his bleakest moments, he formed a contract with Sebastian, a demon, bargaining his soul in exchange for vengeance upon those who wronged him. Today, not only is Sebastian one hell of a butler, but he is also the perfect servant to carry out his master's orders—all the while anticipating the delicious meal he will eventually make of Ciel's soul. As the two work to unravel the mystery behind Ciel's chain of misfortunes, a bond forms between them that neither heaven nor hell can tear apart.
