Though she is a member of the Britannian royal family, she remains kind-hearted and open-minded to everyone around her and treats everyone with respect even if they are not Britannian; this universal respect probably stems from her own childhood experiences with her siblings Lelouch and Nunnally whose mother wasn't from the nobility and thus were looked upon with disdain by the other members of the Britannian Imperial Family. She is the second person in the Imperial Family to discover that Lelouch is alive and first to know his alter ego as Zero, having deduced it after the hotel hijacking incident. In her childhood, she was quite close to Lelouch and Nunnally. She develops a close, romantic bond with Suzaku Kururugi because of their shared belief that a problem must be changed from within.

On August 10th, 2010 the Holy Empire of Britannia began a campaign of conquest, its sights set on Japan. Deploying a humanoid weapon dubbed Knightmare Frame, Japan was quickly conquered, its rights and identity stripped away, the once proud nation now referred to as Area 11. Its citizens, Elevens, now forced to scratch out a living while the Brits live comfortably within their settlements. Pockets of resistance appear throughout Area 11, working towards independence for Japan, although without much success. However, the world's destiny changes as Lelouch, an exiled Imperial Prince of Britannia posing as a student, finds himself in the heart of the ongoing conflict. Through a chance meeting with a mysterious girl named C.C., Lelouch gains a mysterious power called Geass. Equipped with the power of the king, Lelouch may finally realize his dream of bringing Britannia down to its knees!
Code Geass: Oz The Reflection
The story takes place between the first and second season of the TV anime and is told from two perspectives. The photo story in Hobby Japan centers around Orpheus Zevon, a young terrorist with the Knightmare Frame Byakuen who is in pursuit of his lover's killer. The manga in Newtype Ace revolves around Oldrin Zevon, a girl in the Britannia Empire's anti-terrorist unit Glinda Knights who pilots the KMF Lancelot Grail.
