The Evangelist (伝道者, Dendōsha) is the leader of the White-Clad. Her exact nature and origin are unknown. In the aftermath of the Great Cataclysm, the being emerged from the Tear in Space after Tempe approached it. Calling the Evangelist a god and begging for his happiness to be returned after the cataclysm took everything from him, with a smile she used a Bug to transform him into a Demon Infernal. She left him to venture into the Chinese Peninsula.[1] A bug would later bite the Woman in Black the Evangelist brought with her to the human world and awaken her powers. The Evangelist ordered Yona to imitate the peoples Savior, Raffles I, and manipulate the people of the Tokyo Empire through a religion, which lead him to create The Holy Sol Temple. The Evangelist taught the White-Clads the reason behind the Spontaneous Human Combustion, the identity of the Bugs, the secrets of the Adolla Burst, and why it's called the Flame of Destruction, as well as past events of the world.[2] For over 12 years,[3] the Evangelist was responsible for kidnapping children and testing to see if they were compatible with the flames and acquired the Adolla Burst. At some point in history, she appeared before Five-Two and Leonard Burns through an Adolla Link, and the sight of her causes them to lose an eye while gaining knowledge of the Adolla world.

Fire Force
Spontaneous Human Combustion: a chaotic phenomenon that has plagued humanity for years, randomly transforming ordinary people into flaming, violent creatures known as Infernals. While Infernals make up the first-generation accounts of Human Combustion, the second and third generations became known as pyrokinetics—people gifted with the ability to manipulate and control their flames while remaining human. To combat the Infernal threat and discover the cause, the Tokyo Armed Forces, Fire Defense Agency, and Holy Church of Sol produced their answer: the Special Fire Force. Young and eager third-generation pyrokinetic Shinra Kusakabe, nicknamed Devil's Footprints for his explosive ability to ignite his feet at will, becomes a member of the lively Special Fire Force Company 8. Upholding the brigade's duty to extinguish the blazing Infernals and lay their souls to rest, Shinra is determined to become a hero who will save the lives of those threatened by the flame terror. However, this is not the hero's game Shinra imagined. The Fire Force is a fractured mess of feuding brigades, abnormal Infernal sightings are increasing all over Tokyo, and a shadowy group is claiming to have answers to the strange fire that caused the death of Shinra's family 12 years ago. Faced with many obstacles within and outside the Fire Force, Shinra fights to uncover the truth behind the burning mysteries that have kept him in the dark.
