Despite breaking the Five Prohibitions, Xiaoli has pure love and respect for martial arts and the Shinryuu Temple, breaking their laws to prove their strength and skill to the rest of the world. She loves fighting against both strong and skilled opponents as shown during her match against Stella, acknowledging her might to the point of wanting to intervene in her match against Ikki during the 62nd Seven Stars Sword Art Festival Finals, but didn't due to the other Desperados there too. During her fight against Stella, Xiaoli no contempt or arrogance, taking all her attacks seriously without letting her guard down despite overpowering her several times. Similar to Edelweiss during her initial fight against Ikki, held back her attacks enough so that neither of them would kill Stella, seeing no real win in killing her opponent. After seeing Stella's desire to keep fighting despite the odds, she began becoming anxious since Xiaoli's attacks might end up taking her life, however, in the end, she started fighting seriously after seeing her foe's resolve.
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry
The "school sword action" story revolves around Magic Knights, modern magic-users who fight with weapons converted from their souls. Ikki Kurogane goes to a school for these Magic Knights, but he is the "Failed Knight" or "Worst One" who is failing because he has no magical skills. However, one day, he is challenged to a duel by Stella, a foreign princess and the "Number One" student. In this duel, "the loser must be obedient for life."
