Ged, also known as Sparrowhawk, is the deuteragonist from Tales from Earthsea. At the beginning of the film, he runs into Prince Arren and saves him from a pack of wolves that are chasing him through the desert. He is the arch-mage of Earthsea and is thought to be the best in his field. He is rivaled by Cob.
