Goblin Slayer's Older Sister (ゴブリンスレイヤーの姉, Goburin Sureiyā no ane) was the sole loved one of Goblin Slayer during his childhood. Her death is the primary circumstance that triggered Goblin Slayer's fixation on killing goblins. After her parents died from a plague outbreak she took it upon herself to raise her younger brother all alone. As he was too young to remember his parents, his older sister was the only family he'd ever known. Nonetheless, she was very intelligent and taught Goblin Slayer, and many of the children of the village, how to read, write, and do arithmetic. She also taught Goblin Slayer many stories and life lessons that he took to heart after her death; notably of how goblins came from the green moon, and how if one became envious of another, they would become a goblin themselves.
