Hinata is the daughter of the Tenth Diary Holder, Karyuudo Tsukishima, and one of Yukiteru Amano's friends at his new school. She owns the apprentice diary, "Friendship Diary". She speaks in a Kansai dialect. Hinata is a bright, cheerful and tough girl who is very outgoing and athletic. She does daily morning jogs and is implied to have done some fighting in her time, judging by the plaster she wears on her cheek, also sporting the title of "Hinata of Umesato". Fiery and looking out for her friends, Hinata never lets her friends down and supports them unconditionally. Having faith in the friendships she has made, Hinata always tries to keep a positive outlook on life. Hinata also seems to have a fixation on her body, claiming to have had plastic surgery done on her breasts, and wears T-shirts which expose her stomach. Hinata's friends include Mao Nonosaka, Ouji Kosaka, Aru Akise and Yukiteru Amano. Hinata attempts to befriend Yuno Gasai, referring to her as "Yuno-ecchi", although she gives up after seeing how dangerous Yuno can be.
The Future Diary
Lonely high school student, Yukiteru Amano, spends his days writing a diary on his cellphone, while conversing with his two seemingly imaginary friends Deus Ex Machina, who is the god of time and space, and Murmur, the god's servant. Revealing himself to be an actual entity, Deus grants Yukiteru a "Random Diary," which shows highly descriptive entries based on the future and forces him into a bloody battle royale with 11 other holders of similarly powerful future diaries. With the last person standing designated as the new god of time and space, Yukiteru must find and kill the other 11 in order to survive. He reluctantly teams up with his obsessive stalker Yuno Gasai (who also possesses such a diary), and she takes it upon herself to ensure his safety. But there's more to the girl than meets the eye, as she might have other plans for her unrequited love...
