Hyoudou is a supporting character appearing in the 3rd season of the Netflix Original series Aggretsuko. He is the producer for the idol group OTMGirls. Hyoudou has piercing blue eyes, a chipped left ear, yellow fur with brown spots scattered across his body, and a long tail with a black tip. He wears a white dress shirt, a light blue tie, midnight blue colored pants, and brown dress shoes. Hyoudou has a stone faced appearance simultaneously befitting and contrasting his personality. On the surface, he seems cold, serious, and generally pissed off. But underneath all that, he's actually quite supportive of the idols he's producing for. He often gives them advice and hypes the girls up, usually even more than the actual audience they're performing for. Overall, he is a very honest man whose bluntness is only rivalled by his fits of rage; he always tells it like it is and is very assertive. He's also known for being a self-proclaimed "gambler" who always has incredibly lofty aspirations and out-of-nowhere ideas for his girls. Sometimes these ideas can be flat out asinine, but they usually lead to positive results.
Aggretsuko
Some offices have stereotypical dynamics: the chauvinistic pig of a boss who never does any real work; the employees whose goal is to suck up to the boss; the ones whose lives seem perfect; and the individuals who have all the actual work pushed onto them. Retsuko the red panda is in the last group, as she stays late most nights to make up the work her coworkers are too lazy to do themselves. Her relief from the stress of her everyday life comes in the form of singing death metal at a local karaoke club. Night after night, Retsuko channels her grief into a microphone and considers the place to be her own personal sanctuary. But as she moves further away from her comfort zone and the ideas people have of her, she discovers that letting others into her world of death metal may not be such a bad thing.
