Hyouta Ashikaga, also known as Hyouta the Adonis and the Archangel, is a main character of the Bishounen Series. He is a first year student at Yubiwa Private Academy, the ace of the track team and a member of the Pretty Boy Detective Club. Hyouta is a cheerful and energetic boy, almost always talking in a carefree, casual manner. He is often flirtatious to girls, and has been shown to be slightly perverted, admitting to sitting upsite down on the sofa in an effort to look up Mayumi Doujima's skirt. He even becomes excited at the thought of seeing Rei again, despite the woman being a dangerous criminal, purely because of her attractiveness. He is a free spirit, with no regard for authority, saying that, were he in Mayumi's place, he would readily break the promise imposed on her by her parents. He is also shown to be quite cheeky, often teasing Nagahiro Sakiguchi by calling him a lolicon, which usually earns him an annoyed scolding.
