Fearing reality, Hypnos was born from the desire to escape into the world of dreams, which is why she is named after the god of sleep–that, and because she spends way more time asleep than she does awake. Having gone through most of her life half-awake at best, she can no longer distinguish dreams from reality. Both the young master and her pactmaker wish they could live together in her dreams.
