Description

"The original me is much more glamorous, but this body is not bad either." Ishtar is the goddess of fertility of Babylonian mythology and one of many mother goddesses whose power is derived from the Earth Mother. Her Sumerian divine name is Inanna, and this name is actually the older one. Ishtar is her Akkadian divine name. A goddess of Venus, a goddess that rules over good harvests which brings prosperity to people and also a goddess that rules war and destruction. Said to be the most pampered, or rather, most beloved goddess by the other deities. Also famous for having numerous loves, it has been said that she would make advances with all her energies on those who she took a liking, regardless of those being humans or other deities. On the other hand, she also displayed a demon-like cruelty towards those who did not bow to her will. Although her role as a Goddess is said to be watching over the Human race, "Now, I wonder if Humans will survive, or will they perish?" was spoken with an evil grin amid laughs. Truly, she is Venus' Red Demon. This form is not that of the goddess Ishtar herself, but a pseudo-Servant condition in which a human (Rin Tohsaka) that has a wavelength close to her own was made into a vessel. Since Ishtar is egoistical, she behaves while paying no regards to the possessed human, but her personality is receiving a great influence from that of the possessed human. Ishtar is both compassionate and cruel, but because the possessed human’s personality is more virtuous, her cruelty has withdrawn deep down and her good side is coming more to the surface.

Fate/Grand Order (Game)

Fate/Grand Order is an online, free-to-play role-playing mobile game developed by Delightworks using Unity, and published by Aniplex. The game is based on Type-Moon's Fate/stay night franchise, and was released in Japan on July 29, 2015 for Android, and on August 12, 2015 for iOS. The game is centered around turn-based combat where the player, who takes on the role of a "Master", summons and commands powerful familiars known as "Servants" to battle enemies. The story narrative is presented in a visual novel format, and each Servant has their own scenario which the player can explore. In 2015, the Chaldea Security Organization draws on experts of both the magical and mundane fields to observe the future of mankind for possible extinction events. Humanity's survival seems assured for the next century—until the verdict suddenly changes, and now eradication of the species awaits at the end of 2016. The cause is unknown, but appears to be linked with the Japanese town of Fuyuki and the events of 2004 during the Fifth Holy Grail War. In response, Chaldea harnesses an experimental means of time travel, the Rayshift technology. With it, Ritsuka Fujimaru (a young man or woman, depending on the player's choice of gender) was newly recruited to the organization, and a mysterious girl named Mash Kyrielight, can travel back to 2004 and discover how to save humanity. A grand order to fight fate has been declared—an order to change the past and restore the future.[12] Following the events in Fuyuki, Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight must restore the Foundation of Humanity by retrieving powerful Holy Grails.
