In Kantai Collection, Kasumi has long greyish-silver hair with a side ponytail, yellowish-brown eyes. She wears a short-sleeved white shirt, arm warmers, a skirt with suspenders and black kneehighs. She carries a twin-gun turret, a quad torpedo launcher and a randoseru-shaped structure. Her voice actress is Miyagawa Wakana For all versions, she is given a new uniform consisting of a black jumper dress over a long-sleeved white shirt, belt and black kneehighs. Her gear has been given an upgrade and torpedo launchers have been attached to her thighs. She also wears rudder heels similar to Shizuma Yoshinori's shipgirls. For her Kai2, she holds a standard twin turret with her right arm and a set of AA gun with her left. She has a red ribbon attached to her collar and a black ribbon secures her side ponytail. Her gear is held with black straps. As for the Kai2 B, she replaces her standard turret with a high angle turret, she ditches the collar ribbon and she wears a headband (mostly obscured by her bangs) which also secures her side ponytail. Her gear is held with red straps, her original color. She also wears the requisite single thighhigh of the Operation Ten-go participants. She is notorious as the worst verbally abusive shipgirl. Yes, she is even more foul-mouthed than Akebono. She often treats her Admiral as a dumb servant and is constantly hardheaded and irritated. However this only hides her feelings especially when you marry her; she gets flustered more often.

Kantai Collection (艦隊これくしょん Kantai Korekushon, lit. "Fleet Collection", subtitled as "Combined Fleet Girls Collection"), abbreviated as KanColle (艦これ KanKore), is a Japanese free-to-play web browser game developed by Kadokawa Games.[2][3] The game was launched on April 23, 2013.[4] As of April 2015, the game is available in Japan only and has 3 million registered players.[5] The game has developed into a much larger media franchise; various media including multiple manga series and light novels have been released, in addition to an officially licensed tabletop role-playing game. A PlayStation Vita game was released in February 2016,[6] and an anime television series began airing its first season in January 2015,[7] with an animated film[8] released in November 2016 as the sequel to the series.
