Katarina is a tactician and mage in the service of Altea. Formerly one of Eremiya's assassins under the name Reese (Japanese: アイネ Eine), she was originally tasked with infiltrating the Altean knights to assassinate Marth, but instead came to befriend and care for her fellow Altean recruits. Though she fled Altea after her attempt on Marth's life failed and her true identity as an assassin revealed to all, she was later persuaded to leave Eremiya's service by Kris.
