Also known as Maiya of the Ura-Fuuchoin, she is the elder sister of Yohan and the younger sister of Yuri. In the Kokuchouin clan, the children that are born after sunrise are buried alive. She had a twin sister that was born before dawn, but she wasn't born until the morning; so she was buried. Even though she was buried, she didn't stop crying. Eventually, the family tired of the crying so they tried to kill her, sending an arrow towards her burial mound; but a strong wind blew the arrow off course, and right into Maiya's sister, the girl that was supposed to be raised by her family. That's why her family named her Maiya, meaning the "Whirling Arrow". Maiya is a tad cynical, commenting how she is a lucky girl due to her sister dying, or how she likes to torture her prey a bit as a form of play before capturing them. She has also been shown to be lustful, commenting on how she finds Ban and specially Ginji cute, wanting to capture them as objects of her sexual desire. She is also shown being completely shameless, walking around with nothing but an open robe in front of her brothers, or casually chatting with Yuri as he was together with naked women.
Getbackers
Mido Ban and Amano Ginji are known as the Get Backers, retrievers with a success rate of 100%. Whatever is lost or stolen, they can definitely get it back. Despite their powerful abilities and enthusiastic behavior, Ban and Ginji are terminally broke no matter what they do simply because few people would actually desire to hire them. As a result, the pair of them tend to do dangerous jobs, often leading to unwanted re-encounters with their old (and dangerous) friends.
