Due to her avaricious personality, inherited memories and knowledge from her previous world on advanced economics and her own circumstances of not really facing a genuine threat in her second life, Mariabelle is shown to have become completely overconfident and arrogant in her approach to the other natives of the world, as seen where she possessed complete and utter faith and belief that her unique skill, Greed could allow her to completely dominate and defeat anyone and resulted in her making several strategical errors in her plan to confront Rimuru Tempest due to believing that her overall power could easily defeat a True Awakened Demon Lord, due to believing the overall power level of a demon lord is only equal to that of a self proclaimed one.

After being killed by a passing robber, a normal 37-year-old guy finds himself reincarnated in another world as a blind slime with unique abilities. He takes up a new name and calls himself "Rimuru Tempest," which he thought of after meeting his new friend, "catastrophe-level" Storm Dragon Verudora. There, he begins his new slime-like life in another world with his increasing number of minions by his side.
