She is a young child who is Mari's sister, and a prodigy whose powers as a Saviour have awaken at a very early age. Maya appears to be childish, air-headed and in some instances mischievous, but at the same time she is also very cheerful, always smiling and welcoming of her peers. She is also shown to be very caring of her friends, particularly Moroha.
