Nagisa Kubo is the female protagonist in Kubo-san wa Boku (Mobu) wo Yurusanai. She is one of the few people who's able to find Shiraishi easily. She is in Year 1 Class 1 at Haruka North High School. She has long, brown hair and a slim build. She wears many different outfits in the series, though she is most often seen wearing her school uniform. Nagisa is very playful and mischievous. She enjoys teasing Shiraishi and it's alluded that she has feelings for him.

Shiraishi-kun is a pretty unremarkable guy and he often blends into the background. His classmate Kubo-san takes an interest in him and challenges him to do things to be seen. It seems she just enjoys teasing him though!?
