Platelet is a platelet and the leader of the platelets in Cells At Work! CODE BLACK. Like all platelets, she has a short stature. She has black to dark ombre colored spiky hair that stretches to her back. She has round, teardrop eyes with teal irises. She wears the platelet uniform, which is inspired by Japanese kindergarteners. She's usually seen with a frustrated look. Unlike the other Platelet, she is rather cynical and aggressive. When AA2153 noticed her, she rudely told him to go away. Another incident involves her bossing over her subordinates when they were worried about Gonococci before AA2153 comforted them. Truthfully, this personality of her stems from stress and overwork, as shown in Episode 13 when the body is in much better shape and it can be seen that she is happily and calmly directs her subordinates. Deep down, she is quite soft, demonstrated in Episode 7 when she told AA2153 to look out for his friends, showing that her strict ways might be a way to show she care. Lastly she can be a little naïve, proven when she tried to stop an embolus from rolling even though it's impossible.
Cells at Work 2nd Season
The cells of the human body never rest for too long; there's always something new to do and learn every day. At least, that's what Hakkekkyuu U-1146 feels as he rushes to and fro, searching for any pathogens that could cause harm to the body. Despite his dangerous line of work, it's all worth it to protect the happy smiles of Sekkekkyuu AE3803, the platelet crew, his fellow neutrophils, and the other cells he meets along the way. In his latest pathogen-hunting adventures, Hakkekkyuu U-1146 discovers how important cells can sometimes make mistakes, and that not all bacteria are actually bad. Everybody has their bad days, but everything eventually works out when their comrades have their backs. In the end, it's just another normal day for these hardworking cells!
