Ruri was Ayano's kouhai back in high school. She admired her and since Ayano's sexual activity was high, she wanted to become like her and tried to have sex with some boys as well. That being a bad experience, she developped a fear of boys which Souta helped cure.

Tachibana Souta is a bit of a multi-talented freeter who gets by from one part-time job to the next, his standout characteristic being that he's a bit short.
