Ryuujou shares many characteristics with the Hiyou-class such as being a shikigami-using onmyouji, wielding a flight deck scroll and having some of the same clothing choices. Ryuujou wears a black skirt, a magatama and a maroon/dark red kariginu-like coat over a white shirt She has dark brown hair in twintails and wears a visor cap resembling a ship's bow. Overall, she also looks smaller and younger than all of the other carriers. Her second remodel gives her a different shirt collar with three magatama hung under, a skirt with more white stripes along the brim, a golden flight deck scroll with a necklace attached to the scroll, and a golden flame over the blue flame. She talks in Kansai-ben; she is often nicknamed "RJ" and with her cap, resembles somewhat like a McDonald's worker.

Kantai Collection (艦隊これくしょん Kantai Korekushon, lit. "Fleet Collection", subtitled as "Combined Fleet Girls Collection"), abbreviated as KanColle (艦これ KanKore), is a Japanese free-to-play web browser game developed by Kadokawa Games.[2][3] The game was launched on April 23, 2013.[4] As of April 2015, the game is available in Japan only and has 3 million registered players.[5] The game has developed into a much larger media franchise; various media including multiple manga series and light novels have been released, in addition to an officially licensed tabletop role-playing game. A PlayStation Vita game was released in February 2016,[6] and an anime television series began airing its first season in January 2015,[7] with an animated film[8] released in November 2016 as the sequel to the series.
