Sango is a sixteen-year-old yōkai taijiya (demon slayer). She wields the Hiraikotsu, a human-sized boomerang made of yōkai bones. She is always accompanied by her nekomata, Kirara. She is a strong-willed and independent, but also compassionate person. She has obvious feelings towards Miroku, although she is annoyed by his shameless flirting.
