Sona Bartley is a character in the graphic novel Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy, published by IDW. She is the niece of Lord Ivan Bartley. She has loose morals and lusts after Dracula and his power. Following Dracula's resurrection, Sona mocks her uncle for his failure to restore the vampire's full strength, offering her own blood as a fine vintage, as well as her own body to satisfy his urges. Dracula soon tires of her, however, which seems to have an adverse effect on her mind. By the time Illyana is captured, Sona is seen wandering the catacombs, naked and covered with scars, although still fanatically loyal to Dracula.

Castlevania
Castlevania: Hymn of Blood is an interpretation of a possible backstory for Simon Belmont, the protagonist of the Castlevania video games. It should come as a relief to old-school gamers that the serialized story seems to focus more on references and lore from the three NES games, rather than anything from the more recent (and terrible) games.
