Souta's mother, whose name is Fumi, barely earns any money. She is a single mother (no info on husband up til now, which is ch. 10) and prostitutes herself to earn enough to live. Despite working as a prostitutes, she hates men and sees them only as "perverts" though she doesn't include her son in that category and sees him as the only reliable man. In some scenes, she is shown to be rather possessive about Souta while on others she seems caring (giving off yandere vibes sometimes)
