The AR-15 is a selective-fire assault rifle based on the Armalite AR-10 rifle, designed to be a lightweight assault rifle and to fire new lightweight ammunition. The redesigned rifle was subsequently adopted as the M16 rifle, and spawned many other AR-platform firearms. The variant depicted in-game is a civilian Spikes Tactical 10th Anniversary edition ST-15.

Girls' Frontline is a mobile strategy game developed by MICA Team, a Chinese company. It is a moe anthropomorphism game in which the player controls echelons of characters, each of which are based on actual guns. The game was released in Mainland China on 20 May 2016, and in Hong Kong and Taiwan on 18 January 2017. It was also released in South Korea on 30 June 2017. The English version published by SUNBORN Network Technology was released on May 8, 2018. This game is a prequel of another game developed by the same company called Bakery Girls.
