Single shot breech-reload handgun featuring a scissors breech with separate cocking lever and case ejector. Thunder was developed by Triple Action, this "handgun" is designed to chamber the .50 BMG. Thunder have a 335mm long barrel while the gun itself is around 430mm long, weighting 5.44kg with no munition loaded. High efficiency muzzle break manages to reduce Thunder's recoil by 20-25%, coupled with a nitrogen recoil controller shock absorption system, recoil from firing a 12.7mm cartridge is significantly reduced, but still relatively large for a handgun. Official character description would have Thunder down as a girl void of facial emotions, she always speak with a neutral and calm voice. She often expresses her emotions with the powerful gun shots, because of this peculiar hobby she have quite the demand for destructive weapons.

Girls' Frontline is a mobile strategy game developed by MICA Team, a Chinese company. It is a moe anthropomorphism game in which the player controls echelons of characters, each of which are based on actual guns. The game was released in Mainland China on 20 May 2016, and in Hong Kong and Taiwan on 18 January 2017. It was also released in South Korea on 30 June 2017. The English version published by SUNBORN Network Technology was released on May 8, 2018. This game is a prequel of another game developed by the same company called Bakery Girls.
