Uomihime/Princess Uomi is one of the characters from Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. She is the ruler of the Blue Sea Kingdom and the sister of Mikotsuhime and daughter of the Sea King. Uomihime is the daughter of the Sea King and Mikotsuhime's sister. The Sea King chose his daughter, Uomihime, as his heir; this made her sister jealous, jealous enough to wage war for the throne and kingdom. The Great Sorcerer, Meikai, who was loyal to Uomihime, sacrificed his life to seal away Mikotsuhime and protected the Blue Sea Kingdom.
Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea
The young witch Wadanohara returns to the Blue Sea after a trip, and is greeted by the residents there. The Totsusa Kingdom, however, sends their soldiers over in attempt of invasion. The employees of the Blue Sea's court state that they would like to avoid invasion as much as possible. Wadanohara is sent with her familiars to heal the six blue orbs that connect into a barrier protecting the Blue Sea. Every time Wadanohara fixes an orb, she states that something feels odd, strange, or anything of the like. After fixing every orb, the Blue Sea has a banquet in celebration of it. During the banquet, Wadanohara goes to the surface, and then encounters Laurentia, a demon employed by the Totsusa Kingdom. She breaks all the orbs, destroying the barrier, and allowing the Totsusa Kingdom to invade. [Wikipedia]
