The Viscountess Schafhausen was a member of the High Nobility living near Neue Sanssouci in the reign of Kaiser Friedrich IV. She was one of the few friends of Countess Annerose von Grünewald. When her husband was extorted out of rights to mine a newly discovered vein of mineratls, Reinhard von Lohengramm agreed to represent Viscountess Schafhausen in a duel.
