Yan is a female shape shifting fox demon called Huli jing in early 20th century China. Huli jing are hunted in Yan's village for seducing men and torturing their minds. As modern technology progresses into society magic fades away and Yan and her hunter are forced to move to Hong-Kong. There Yan's beauty is recognized by the british governor. Eventually Yan is captured and her body is forcefully modified by advanced mechanic replacements. Utilizing cybernetic upgrades she breaks free and takes revenge.
