Yumemi is just an ordinary girl except that can see the islands of the Heavens floating in the sky. Although her friends support and believe her even though they can't see the Heavenly Kingdoms themselves, Yumemi often feels that she is "different" from everyone else and there is something wrong with her because she sees things no one else can. Lady Ryuely discribes Yumemi as "... just an ordinary child with unlimited possibilities". In Munto's vision Yumemi holds the power to open the future of the Heavens, she is the key to saving the seven Heavenly Kingdoms from destruction. At great personal risk he travels to the Lower World to find the one he calls the "Girl of Destiny".
Tenjoubito to Akutobito: Saigo no Tatakai
In the distant past beings appeared who broke the boundaries of space and time and forcefully invaded numerous planets. These beings had discovered a way to transform a resonance produced by people's hearts, called Akuto, into power. It was a power without limit, and they stole it from the masses without remorse. In their pride, those beings created a vast floating island in the sky, yet they began to grow uneasy about the future. They realized that the number of stars in the sky able to supply them with Akuto were not limitless. Consumed by fear, they began to hasten their plans for expansion and conquest. To accomplish this, they decided to revive the human race, that they had once nearly slaughtered to extinction. Their plan was to live together with the humans, domesticating them and cultivating them. It was an attempt to gather more Akuto than they had ever previously known. However, the plan ended in failure. The Akuto produced by the regenerated human race was not enough to slake their lust for power. They began to pour all of their resources into the invasion of other worlds. Eventually, they turned a blind eye on the Akuto crisis. Those robbers and thieves who declared themselves gods, took upon themselves the name Heavenly Beings. And humans, who were sealed into the lower world and abandoned to fend for themselves, would later come to be know by a name feared by the Heavenly Beings... the Akuto People. — from intro To save both the Magical Kingdom and the Heavens and restore the flow of Akuto, the flow of energy of everything, the Magical King Munto must follow a vision and find the girl Yumemi in the normal world. Yumemi herself is just a normal girl except that she is the only one who can see the islands of the Heavens floating above. When Munto appears before her she starts thinking about her responsibility to the world.
