Ayame (菖蒲, "Iris Flower") is the granddaughter of the Northern Yoro Tribe leader, the Wolf elder (Chōrō) as well as Kōga's fiancée and eventual wife and an example for one of the many different animal-centered fetishes in Inuyasha.
