Hinowa was a fisherman of Soukai.[1] However, she joined the army to achieve great things. Hinowa was a young woman with blue eyes and light red hair, which she tied up. Her clothes were black and white in color and left her midriff bare. She wore some armor on her arms and knees. She also wore a light blue headband, another light blue piece of cloth around her waist and two circular earrings. Hinowa was very ambitious and wanted her name to be known all over Wakoku.[2] This was also shown when she wanted to personally claim the head of the enemy commander.[4] She cared greatly for both her family[2] and the men under her command.[4] She was also brave and boarded the enemy ship first, ahead of her men.

A continuation of the Akame ga Kill! manga series. It is written by Takahiro and features illustrations by strelka. The story is set in a distant eastern country called Wakoku. Battles for the survival of the fittest have lasted a century in Wakoku. Hinowa is an obscure girl caught in the midst of the upheaval.
