Sayaka has a strict and calm demeanor, perfecting the old academy rules over the new ones. She also is quit bold, questioning Mei's leadership. She dislikes the new rules and people supposedly taking advantage of them. She also appears to think love between two girls is impossible, She also can be quite underhanded going behind the student council's back trying to collect information on Mei so she could blackmail her. She seems to be a little short tempered, such as when she almost hit Matsuri when she called her out after revealing the real reasons why she wants to change the rules back. However, she's not above apologizing for her actions. Later on it's revealed the reason why she was so determined to change the school rules back, was because she was afraid she would lose her best friend to the changes that are happening and accepting her sexuality. However after opening up to Yuzu she put her heart at ease and now won't be afraid or deny things that are unknown to her.
